Enrollment Process

Step one: Start by scheduling a tour at your desired Room For Growing location.

Step Two: Complete our enrollment paperwork, accessible below, and submit all documents and initial payments at least 3 days prior to your child’s start date.

Step Three: Room For Growing will approve your start date, or place you on a waitlist for your chosen location and age group.

Step Four: Once the start date is secured, Room For Growing will send a welcome email covering key information, including:

  • What to expect and how to prepare

  • Drop-off and pick-up tips for an easy transition

  • Your child’s specific program, classroom, and teachers

  • Procare Parent Engagement instructions 

  • Security information & emergency preparedness plan

  • Payments & Policies Overview

Step Four (infants only): Join us onsite for an in-person intake to review your infant’s routine, such as sleep schedules, eating habits, individual needs, and an overview of their daily life.

How to Prepare

  • Please stop by the office to complete first-day paperwork and ensure tuition payment. We welcome you to come in early to spend some extra time with your child to ease the transition during the first few drop-offs.

    Please ask us for support and suggestions if you’re having a challenging time at drop-off and pick-up. You are welcome to call and check on your child as often as you’d like. 

  • Families may need to bring the following items on their child’s first day: bottles (infants), diapers & wipes, creams, ointments, lotions, pacifiers, blanket & pillow, comfort items (stuffed animals, blanket, family picture, a book), extra clothes, and weather appropriate attire (i.e. jacket, boots, snow pants, mittens & hat).

    You are also welcome to provide a healthy snack for your child to eat upon arrival.

  • You will receive an email with access to our Procare Parent Engagement app, which has a variety of features and functions. The application allows you to check your child in and out at drop-off and pick-up, and allows teachers to communicate with you as their time and attention allows.

    We can share updates on meals, diaper changing, and naps as well as photos, videos, and messages. If you need immediate information, give us a call.

  • Your family will be given a private access code to enter the building at your designated location. Anyone picking up your child must be authorized by our staff and have proof of identification.

    We also utilize closed-circuit monitoring of each classroom and common play areas, allowing you and our team to observe your child.
